How is this lit? I love it

I'm guessing a very wide, soft source to the right at just about eye level, plus a gentle kicker on the left, and an ring light? Something like that, anyway?

Soft source to the right, probably a soft box or Kino type light, and definitely a kicker from the left... don't know about a ring light though. The only thing I see in his eyes is the edge of the light on the right. I like the lighting, but something about the eye light just bothers me. I think that maybe the soft source on the right is too close to the speaker. The shape and size of the reflected eye light is different in each eye. They may want to have pulled that back a bit. As for the kicker, it could be a host of different types of lights.

The lighting looks good, but what really stands out to me is the rich color tone with a limited palette and contrast with the luminosity on the background without losing texture on the background.

and a hit of sharpening. I use it when i really want the dialog to pop. Not much, just a touch to shallow DOF footage.

Also I'd say they have highlighted the face in post and knockdown the background.
