How important is IMDB?

Okay, Chris, I'm (slightly) impressed, as my "Bacon" factor is nil. Leave it to you, however, to pull in the T&A aspect of IMDB! J/K, my friend.

I never just kid about T&A, you know that!

You'll have a sweet IMDB page after these two we did in August get some festival screenings. :cheesy:

I think it all respect it is kind of cool to show your friends and family that your listed... but I am not sure it would make much of a difference... you can be listed and still be a $hity person to work with... so your rep is more important...

My mother used to ask me why my name is never in the credits and wouldn't that prevent me from getting future work? I told her I don't get work because my name is in credits. Credits are ego boosters, nothing more. That website will never get you a job because your name is in the credits. Im my opinion having your name there is about as important as writing it on a phone booth somewhere in the world.

Well, just writing your name in the phone booth isn't enough.

You have to offer to do stuff, too.

It's also a good idea to include some cartoon illustrations, as well.

I was Scott's and Wooks wipping post, they'd call me every other day to tell me they were going to use Alias if we didn't give them more fuctionality in Prisms. I was with SideFX at the time. I worked a lot with Denise B and Kevin M.

Did you also work at VIFX?

No, I worked for Wonderworks; they're a shop in Canoga Park that specializes in aerospace-type stuff, miniatures, action props, motion rigs, etc.
