HOW have they get this storm effect?

I'd bet the clouds are Real Flow or Houdini or perhaps some higher end fluid simulator. Not Trapcode. You need to be specific about the shot/timecode you are interested in though, I suspect they used a lot of everything on that. Could just be a lot of footage blended together too. Hard to tell for sure.

Hi msorrels, thank for reply; Yes , for example the last shot, 1:30, with the boy and the Paris landscape background. The clouds timelapse I think aslo are real footage , but this last shot is not. It is like apocalyptic storm , showing the birth of some tornados..

I think 1:30 looks more like they took real storm footage and blended it together, time ramping, color correction, some masking. Then tracked it into the shot. They might have added to it with a particle engine but it doesn't feel that way. Looks more like good stock footage blended.
