Some of the actors claim they'll legitimately hurt themselves to get the crying out. If it gets the performance out, would you be ok with this?

In Germany - we have methods, you know - we usually tell the leading actors that from this moment on they won't have a trailer any more. Torrents of tears.

The people for smaller roles we tell them what the leading guys and gals earn on this film. Perfect, salty water flooding.

We actually shot the scene today. He had to go to the hospital but wow! his performance - EXCELLENT!

LMAO... how many shots did it take to get him into character? Geez, and I thought my midget and a baseball bat technique was extreme...

We only used one bullet but we did 4 takes. the pain got worse as it went on so everything was fine, it didn't require more rounds fired and we didn't waste to much ammo.
