How does this setup look?

Hey everyone,

Sorry to post another "how does this look?", but I'm relatively new into purchasing some of these items, and could use a good opinion:

- Audio Technica 4073A
- 50' XLR cable, HOSA
- K-tek windscreen
- K-tek Avalon KE-110CCR
- K-tek KE-US shock mount for boom pole

I feel pretty confident in getting the 4073a, as I've heard tons of good things about it. My main question is in regards to the boom pole and wind screen. Are these good, or is there a better option are the same price range that is much better? Thanks for your time everyone.

That's fine, but what are you going to do about recording audio for interiors. A shotgun sounds like **** indoors.

The 50' cable; is that ONE piece, or multiple cables to make up a total of 50'?
Because if that is your ONLY cable, you will find it won't be sufficient. (Edit: to clarify: it seems a little long, that is all; you want the SHORTEST possible cable you can get away with, and having ONLY a 50' one will be too long for most of the shoots I'm guessing)

I believe MattinSTL has some StarQuand cables for sale, for VERY little money. His stuff is TOP NOTCH and he's offering them for a song, as they are surplus and he now uses a different cable.....let me see if I can find the link....here t'is:
