How does the Letus35 compare to the Letus35 Extreme

I have a good deal to buy a non-extreme Letus and was just wondering how they compare. Is there more light loss on the non-extreme? Also, anyone have experience pulling focus straight from the lens without a follow focus setup on a not too crazy shot?
 
The Extreme was a landmark development for Letus. The original Letus adapters were night and day different from the Extreme. With the Extreme they totally revolutionized their light loss, sharpness, and build quality. I have an older Letus35 Flip Enhanced (which as several generations newer than the original Letus line) and it's not in the same league as the Extreme.

i believe the letus flip enhanced lost something like 2 stops. Extreme loses .5 stops. Edge to edge is not perfect but excellent on the extreme, can't say the same on the flip enhanced. and yeah, build quality of the extreme is tank like.
 
Damn. A guy on eBay has an older model with nikon lenses and rails for 800 bucks and I was tempted.
