How do you show frame in timeline in the source monitor??

Like the title says, I want to be able to rest my current time indicator on a clip, click a command, and have the original source clip show up in the source monitor, on the frame.

Does that make sense? I know that avid has a function called "show in source monitor" which does just that.

Original clip meaning the clip from the Project Panel?
Select clip in timeline and hit M.
If you mean show the clip from the timeline in the Source Monitor?
Close clips is Source Monitor and double click on clip in timeline.

Note that to have the M keystroke approach give you what you want you also first need to select the appropriate video track in the left column.
