How Do You Organize Your Files

Hey everyone!

Just curious to see how everyone here organizes their files and how they back everything up. Just looking for a better and more precise way.

Right now I have all my video files on two external hard drives. When I go to edit, I make a folder for the specific project and put the files in there and just edit. I end up saving the Premiere project file in one place and then the After Effects file in another. I really do not like it because I don't feel as organized since I end up having files everywhere all the time.

I create one folder with the name of project and inside, i use sub-folders like "Footage", "Music", "Project", "After", "Images" ... One time per day i make backup to a external hard drive.
