How does this info get used? I'd love to announce the development of a film, but does it have to be backed by a studio? Does there have to be funding? All that stuff? Or could I list a short film I'm working on?

it has a check box for student films and short films also so i doubted if being backed by a studio is a requirement. the reason i asked the original question is because i saw a feature that's being shot here and is not backed by a studio or has any distribution. some horror film with a cast of six people.

nice, does anyone know about any other similar sites to get listed on, imdb is difficult, but what about variety, hollywood.com and all them similar listing sites?

Just wondering, when you go to send hollywood reporter their form, how do you go about sending it if you dont have a fax machine? they say you can email it to them but you cant save changes to the pdf file.. All i can think of is printing the compleated form, scan each sheet and email as images.. unless there is a magical way of using a scanner as a fax machine via the internet??

Dave.

open the pdf up in photoshop and fill in the blanks then resave and email it. that's all i can think of....or just go to kinkos or your local print shop and fax for a dollar.

Or you submit to Hollywood Reporter and use that as your "proof" to get on IMDB..... that's what I did. All they require is a listing in a trade paper. The others I don't know about.

do you know how much it costs to do this? i have imdb pro but i had only seen the option where you can create a resume for yourself. what's the process for setting up an imdb profile for just the movie and it's cast?

you just have to prove that its a decent enough project thats eventually going to be screened.
