How do you follow up An Inconvenient Truth?

I heard that Bieber beat the crap out of our very own Tom Marshall.

Ugh! "An Inconvenient Truth". And ugh, "Justin Bieber".

That's all I can say without the mods locking the thread. Believe me, on one of the above-mentioned subjects, I did my own research, and found info that was intentionally left out or was completely twisted to fit.

A much more gripping title would have been, "A Plausible Inconvenience"... with the tag line, "I swear, I did not warm that planet."
 
oddly enough, the bieber film is a sequel to An Iconvenient Truth, as it focuses on al gore's attempts to educate the public about justin bieber. the sequel hopes to avoid the criticisms concerning scientific inaccuracies by fact checking all bieber data through wikipedia, facebook, and twitter.

Ah yes, Wikipedia. A science teacher I know refers to Wikipedia as codified ignorance. Won't let her students use it for research.

through college professors changed from 'don't ever use it' to 'well, it's a good starting point'.

i think wikipedia is one of the best things that happened to the internet. it's mission is to have information freely available to all. encyclopedia britannica is too busy selling books.

Lots of youtube hits because every 12 year old girl plays his videos 100x a night (18,000 of them). Duh

Just remember one thing, PROMOTE well and you can make anything you want, liked or not liked.
 
Guggenheim is out. Not like that's going to stop the picture from being made.

I mean, we laugh at the idea. But you know it's going to do great. Bieber has the most viewed music video of all time...someone will make a lot of money off it.
 
Yea, there are a lot of teen age girls that will see it and buy the dvd, I do think they need to keep it in 2D tho and a budget under $25M.
 
Curious to hear why Guggenheim dropped out (the real reason), I know directors have been having severe difficulties dealing with the new president. Kenny Ortega is hands down the best musical director of 2000 and beyond, he also bailed from one of there other musical projects due to disagreements with the new prez, I know the ugly side of it, it's not good and I suspect the same thing happened here. Unfortunately he will just send out a nice press release saying he didn't have time :)

Ortegas way of being nice about what happened to him:

Ortega: The differences just became so big between the studio (Paramount) and I. Just the approach to making the film. You don't want to get in there and find out in the middle of an experience that you're not on the same page as the studio. And the studio has changed hands. When Brad Weston was the president, we were developing a film that he was excited about and I was excited about, and a transition has been made and there's a new person (Adam Goodman) running the studio, and we don't see eye-to-eye on the idea. And that's fine. He's the president, no disrespect. There are other projects, so I'll take a little break and find something fun.
 
My agreement or disagreement with a President (of the US, anyway) has never affected my career. I'm going to try and keep it that way.

So disappointed, a mod giving a real and honest opinion. It pains me to gather the tinder and wood for your immolation SadMax, but, well, as much as I agree........rules are rules. The Gods of Admin demand sacrifice. So......what's your choice? Medium Rare or Well Done? BBQ sauce or no? Personally, I like my Moderator slightly basted with sauce, then allowed to cook.

EDIT: for anyone thinking otherwise.....I Have nothing going on tonight, so my time is my own. How I spend my little 6 hrs. of free time each week is my own business. Give me that small pleasure. Mr. Kessler is with me.
