How do you find out?

Lets say, you shoot a video. But, you forgot what you shot it at. Whether it be 24f, 30f or 60i. How do you find out what you shot it in? Or does it do it automatically?

Select the suspect clip in the bin then right click and look at the properties. That will give you the frame rate and a lot of other parameters on the clip. Now I'm not sure that will give you the information you seek if you're looking at a Canon clip in 24f, which is wrapped in a 30 frame wrapper. I don't know how PP will report that.

You could always go back to the camera and see what the setting is, but that only works if the clip in question is the last thing you shot and haven't made any changes since then.
