How do you do split-screen in Vegas 12?

I'm trying to do a split screen-shot on Vegas 12, I'm new to the NLE and can't find it in the manual. I have three shots that I filmed and I have an image on one shot on the left side of the frame, another shot with an image in the middle of the frame, and a last shot with an image on the right side of the frame and I'm trying to combine all three to make one shot but can't seem to figure it out on Vegas Pro 12! If anyone could help me, please, I would really appreciate it!

The simplest way is to have three tracks, one per shot, and use a mask on each one to only show the appropriate third for that track. That's presuming each shot already has its important stuff in the correct third of the screen - if not, you may also need to use Pan/Crop to define which part of the frame you want to show for each shot.

Thanks Clang, but I figured out another way! I have three separate tracks for each shot and I use the cookie cutter application to mask each shot!

Yup, Cookie Cutter is just one of several ways to create a mask in Vegas - each is slightly different.
