hi gang,

what's the proper way to attach the sennheiser 100 receiver remote lav to the 100a?

i would prefer to attach it the rear of the camera, i guess on the battery.

do i just mount velcro to the back of the batteries? will it be strong enough etc...

i would like to get some input before sticking verlcro all over the place.

the camera is hand held and mounted on a tripod equally.

thanks in advance for the input.

For handheld we always just clipped the receiver to our belts. For tripod mounted I've got a Bracket1, but never used it before today (I guess I haven't encountered a tripod/wireless situation since getting the Evolution)....

hi there,
I gave up with the standard mic mounting a while ago and have been using the shoe mounting for the Mic.
Recently i purchased a radio mic and after a bit of playing around i decided i wanted the receiver mounted vertically where the mic mounting fits.
So after looking around a bit i found a shop with the sony VCTS30L camcorder accessory shoe.
Its a typical bracket for screwing to the tripod socket providing a cold shoe for attaching whatever.
Five minutes with a hacksaw, drill and tin ob black enamel paint and i have a rather nice looking extra shoe mounting with the added advantage that the shoe can swivel through 360 degrees allowing me to angle the receiver for convenience.
Also has a tripod threaded hole for attaching something extra in the future.

Not bad for $15 AU.
