How do the indie crews do it?

I hope everyone doesn't make a film like Cloverfield, because that would mean I would have to give up watching movies.

Yea, I told the guy who green lighted it if there is a Cloverfield 2 I'll have gay porn sent to his house as long as I live.

wow, haha, i'm sorry if i gave out misinformation (that's just what i read in the HPX170 article by barry green) and veered this thread into a movie discussion.

I was just trying to give him encouragement...

No confusion here, I have the white papers Nick Theod*rak#s (google proofed) wrote for Paramount about the production and workflow for all the camera's used right in front of me and have talked about it many times with him, Paramont executives and the director. The F23 was the main camera but most of the FX plates were shot on 35mm film via Panavision film camera, some were shot on the Viper. If I were selling camera's as BandPro does I'd also hype it to the fullest.

There is soooo much miss-information on the street about Cloverfield because of it's secrecy when it was in production, lot's of people just started making assumptions about it and how things were done.

Matt,

I'll always stick up for you bro! I'm just saying what I personally know about it from first hand. Your language is now confusing about film, I don't understand. Film was used on most of the FX plates not to shoot the movie.

Hey man, I think highly of you, I only said what I did because I wonder how many people really know the truth about it.

Panavision would never allow thier name in a movie credit that thier camera wasn't used for, FX plates.

I'm not sure how you stuck up for me in the other thread about my cred, I did delete a few post after I got 30 pm's (one from you too) maybe I need to go back and read it again.

Last post I will make in this thread ever again.
