How do some people get to 5000+ posts?

I post constantly and barely have 350 something posts!
Cafe DVX posts should count. I've started some of the longest threads on that section...
 
Years of contributing to solid posts and asking, as well as answering questions. It's worth it to put in the time, and if post counts give you something to strive for, just keep your posts helpful and meaningful and I see no problem with it. Trust me, you'll learn a ton and the post counts will take a back seat once you see just how much valuable knowledge there is on this site
 
Also if you have a certain level of administrative privileges you can give both yourself and others you choose any number of posts you want.

While that is technically possible, as far as I know, that's only ever been done twice. And no, my post counts weren't inflated, they were earned the hard way... :)
