how do I

Re: how do I

You can use the pan/crop function to resize your image. Do that to several clips and arrange them so that it looks like a bunch of little screens.

Re: how do I

You might be better off using the track motion to do this. Put each clip on a different track and then use track motion -- similarly to pan/crop -- to resize the images. I think it resizes the images with less of a quality degradation, and is easier to work with when you're moving things around.

Tsunami has a Video Wall tool that kets you create Brady Bunch-style multiple screens automatically.

Track motion is easier to get this effect with. If you do it with Pan/Crop, you can save the setting, unlike Track Motion. If I ever need the effect, I just open up the 9 Screen File I made and replace the video on each track. It's easier to do with Track Motion than Pan/Crop (at least for me it is)

There is a "video wall" plug in by Edward Troxel that does it a heck of a lot quicker! I don't own it, but am thinking about it. I just don't use the effect very much.
