So I was wandering what the proper way to cut to an interview in the same scene. Or do I make a new scene and use the same setting as the previous scene then when I go back to the original scene, i make another new scene?

                                   for evidence.

you could put a CUT TO: between them to convey the comedic timing of the cut. theres also other ways of doing it but thats the most basic if theres only one cut to the interview.

you could use an intercut.. look up "intercut +script" on google.
