How do I transfer footage from the DVX to my computer?

Was the camera supposed to come with a cable that I plug in between the DVX and my computer? Or is there something else I need to go buy?

Normally for a PC, you need to have a PCI firewire card, a firewire cable and a video capture/editing software. To simplyfy matters, you can just buy a package that includes all of these items.

Common brands in Singapore are Pinnacle, Snazzi, Canopus. Some can be really costly due to ability to perform hardware rendering and better bundled software. Just go for Firewire instead of USB capture.

It was legit. I knew it used a firewire cable but there wasn't one included with the camera. I figured there would be so I was just wondering if I was missing something. I'll go out and buy one today.
