How do I take Grabs?

Put the play head on the frame you want,choose modify,make freeze frame,then drag the freeze frame from the viewer to a sequence with nothing else in it,then choose file export,quicktime conversion,format still image.
 
i made the freeze frame, but "drag the freeze frame from the viewer to a sequence with nothing else in it" isnt working. I click and drag on the Image itself in the viewer window and into a timeline with nothing in it, but the image just gets dragged out of view, it doesnt go on into the timeline.

help?
 
I don't know what else to tell you,once you create the freeze frame it loads in the viewer,and it has a default length of ten seconds and is no different then any other clip you create.
