How do I set the sequence frame size in FCE?

I was hoping I wouldn't need help so soon, but it seems so.

I'm trying to import and edit some D300s footage in Final Cut Express, and though the clips are the right size, 1280x720, the sequence seems to be automatically set to 720x480. And there doesn't seem to be a way to change it.

Help?
 
You have to adjust the sequence settings: Final Cut Pro --> Audio/Video Settings --> Sequence Settings

Set it to a compression codec that uses 1280x720 (like 720p HDV for Apple ProRes 422 720p)
 
Right-click the sequence in the bin. Select "Settings" from the contextual menu
Click "Load sequence preset" button
Select the preset you want from the pop-up menu and click OK
Click OK to close the settings dialog
