Hey all,

For those who know this song, "How do I live" by Leann Rimes (yes, very popular),
Is this a love song or a break-up song?

I read the lyrics but it's kinda confusing...sounds like "the loved one is going away" song...
Because I want to use it as a background music for a wedding video.
Would it be proper to use it?

Please let me know.

Thanks!!!!!

It's either a break-up song or a clingy chick song, at the end of the day though it's still Leann Rhymes. I'd probably chose something else (please God not Shania Twain).

I just read some of the lyrics. Its definitely an "I Love You" song and not a break-up song. She talks in the present tense and says " If you ever leave, Baby you would take away everything good in my life."

So, hes still with her. But, like tmnt said, its definitely a clingy chick song...I don't think it would be quite right for a wedding.

How about "At Last (My Love Has Come Along)" ? That's the new black, isn't it?

If I never hear that song again, it'll be too soon. It might be the only song used more often than Pachelbel's Canon at weddings.

I always thought that it was more a song about the addiction to smokeless tobacco

if you listen to the words carefully........"How do I live without chew?"

LOL.
I guess it's not really a 'proper' song for a wedding then...
Well...I could still use it, but just to be on the safe side...

I just listened to them and I like them both!!
I will seriously consider using one of those...

Thanks!!!

Any more suggestions?? :)

No problem :)

You also gave me an idea to post up a "song thread" where people can post what they think are good music for projects... feature films, wedding videos, trailer music, tv commercials, etc. Of course it will be all copyright songs so we wouldn't be able to use it in real life but it will definitely be inspiring to us and let us "feel" the feeling that captured us, and then we can try to find a royalty-free music that has a similar feeling. :)

So share your recommended songs at thread :)

Trisha Yearwood's version of "How Do I Live" is head-and-shoulders above Leann Rimes'. Rimes sings it well enough, but there's no emotion; Yearwood definitely sells the emotion.
