How do I get vegas to preview on 2nd monitor?

I can't seem to get vegas to preview on my second monitor. They are both hooked up to a ATI 9800pro video card.

It works fine for everything else but not to use as my preview screen in vegas.

doesn't allow me to drag it anywhere. It just stays in the bottom right hand corner...

I get a big "+" and can drag boxes that don't stay when I try to drag from the preview window...

Can you get any of Vegas's other tool windows to stay on the "second monitor" ?

Have you been able to "un-dock" the video window? Can you place it on the "main monitor" ?

The little vertical dots in the Video Preview's left side are what makes it "moveable".

Is your video card set up for using both monitors and extended desk top?

Sorry to jump in but have to ask...Using Vegas, can I output to a preview monitor using firewire froom computer to dvx and from dvx to a regular tv using the a/v cables. No room for a second monitor or am I better off getting a video card that has a tv output

See the dots on the preview window on the top left side?
See example below.

.

Left click on the dots and drag them to the other monitor.

Done.

Once moved it will stay where you leave it, even after rebooting.

Cool huh. ;)

Sorry for not replying sooner, just got to come back and check now. Was on a poker binge ;) :P
