How do I get Vegas footage into FCP

I started editing a project in Vegas and now my PC is giving me problems. How do I get Vegas edited footage into a FCP time line?
 
Two 6 minute segments for a television project/demo i am working on. I would hate to have to re-edit it, it's 3 hours worth of raw footage. I think its in .avi format. I tried to print to tape but having issues...I don't even know if FCP accepts .avi
 
You should be able to Render it as AVI or MOV file and bring it into Final Cut. I know it can be done vise versa...

But I've never used Final Cut, so just try it, or go to the Final Cut section here and ask someone if they can import AVI footage.
