when my movie goes from one cut to the next i hear a little "pop" sound. someone i let see the file asked 'you need to figure out how to get rid of those edit pops"

i am guessing it comes from when one clips audio is completely different in recording volume then the next?

crossfade between tracks, and like Zak said 1 or 2 frames between edits. Unless you're audio clip sounds very different between the two clips then I would add a bit more like 4. 1 or 2 is just enough though.

Pops? Mixdown Audio, otherwise you need to do a lot of cleaning up of that Audio.

What pops? Background noise?
