please body help me what this.....

How do I get avchd file to change to 1080p/24p in cs4....what do I have to do

I am shooting on a gh1 full hd, I think is a 1920x1080i at 29.97 frame and I want to change to 1920x1080p at 24p

I'm not sure, outside of running the footage through something like Red Giants Frames to convert the footage (and I'm not sure if that'll work for your situation) what you can do within CS4.

Why do you need to change the frame rate?

Are you sure it's 60i and not 30p? If it's 30p, it won't make for a good conversion to 24p no matter what you use. You'll see lots of choppiness and ghosting.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that you needed something like Cineform to remove the pulldown from the GH1.

ok... i'm not sure what is it.... but if it is 60i how can I change to 24p or doe ppro have a way to change to 24p in cs4 in window version or do I have to get third party plug in

I'd be concerned about going to 24p if the cam you're using doesn't do it naturally (I thought the GH did 24fps). Anyway, if you plan on posting it to the web, even if you get something that looks good when you play it back, I've heard that Vimeo and YouTube's conversion process can jack your pulldown. Never tried it myself, just heard of this happening.
