How do I export to DVD?

Hi:

I can not seem to export my video to DVD. It begins to encode, then the computer stalls. I captured the 24p squeeze mode footage as 29.97 as I read in another post. I have it edited, but now it will not export in either 23.9 or 29.9. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Deacon

Does it work exporting to HDD? If so, maybe there is some problems with your DVD-burner, wich usually can be solved simply by updating to the latest firmware. Visit you DVD-burners homepage and find the latest firmware.

Try that if it works fine to export to HDD. Post your results so i know.

Well now it appears I can get to a point and then I'm advised that there is a "Plug in coder error: No plugin DLLs." If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I have used Pro 1.5 and never had these types of issues, but that was before DVX100B and 24p.

Thanks,

Thanks Burlesque

I couldn't find a setting for HDD. After several more attempts, I finally got a copy at 29.97.

Is this what I'm supposed to do with 24p footage? Export it at 29.97 instead of 23.96?

Thanks

No, it should be exported as 23.976. Try using Adobe Media Encoder with the MPEG-2 DVD preset (turn on multiplexer) or render out as microsoft .avi
