How do I export a large file ?

I got a wedding montage of 40 minutes. I tried to export it through Quicktime conversion ( H264 ; 1280x720) But it gave an error that the file was too big.

I would like to know what a good, fast and easy way is to export to a format suitable for dvd.

Use Compressor.

Many Presets you can read about inside the Compressor Manual.

To get it there, export a REFERENCE movie - File Export QT - Current settings, not self contained.

Check the FCP manual for that.

You DO realize that DVD is a completely different format then web conversions, yes?
