HOW DO I DO THIS

Guys,

Got another one to rack your brains.
I want to film a moving scene with the same person in it but multiply them, so their will be 2 or 3 of them at once. If I film the scene each time and overlap them using opacity levels they will look like ghosts. How can this be done. It is like the kylie minogue clip "come into my world". I seen it on the forum here but that guy did it in After Effects. Can this be done in VEGAS, as I dont like using after effects.

Shooting green screen might be the easiest way to go for this. If it's a lock-off shot, you could also just use the bezier masks in Vegas 5, but that won't work so well if the camera is moving.

The Kylie Minogue video was done with Motion Control. If you get another mortgage on your parents' house, you might be able to afford one.

The easiest way to do a multiplicity shot would be to lock the camera down, and then choreograph the shots so that you never have the actor in the same place at the the same time in two different shots.

And if you want to get into rotoscoping or anything, don't foget to shoot a blank plate (same locked-down shot with no actors or moving objects in it).
