I'm trying to learn to use my Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0, and can't figure out for the life of me how to do 24p.
I've got a whole movie shot on 24p with the DVX100a. I'm trying to capture it and work with it in 24p. I watched the tutorial video David Jimerson did in one of the stickies, but that was done on Vegas 6.0. The very first thing he says to do is to make sure an option is checked that says "Allow pulldown removal when opening 24p DV". I don't even have such an option anywhere that I can find.
I also don't have any 24p-related template that I can find.
I thought maybe the 24p conversion comes when doing 'Render As...', but that doesn't seem to work either. I get an error when trying to render with any of the 24p choices -- which all seem to insert, rather than remove, 2-3 or 2-3-3-2 pulldown.
I'm confused. What am I doing wrong? HELP!
