How do I delete my account?

I have write on the forum just once in almost 3 years: I would like to delete my account but I can't understand how I can do it.
Please help... thank you.

I asked the same question a few years ago and the answer is you can't! What you can do is to ask a moderator to change your user name and you can edit each post and remove its content.
 
I can delete your account for you.

The issue comes with deleting hundreds, or thousands of posts which could destroy flow of threads, etc.

Deleting your account will remove your profile, and no profile will be associated with any previous posts at that point. Posts made under deleted accounts will show the user as "guest".
 
Jason, Is it possible to change account names or would you recommend just creating a new account? I could care less about post count etc.
