how do i create steamy windows in a car

how do i create steamy windows in a car. I'm shooting a music video where I"m insinuating that a couple are making love in the car through the windows being steamed up. its summer so how do i recreate this. I googled the hell out of it and came up with nothing.

Use a vapourizer. Shoot the car during sunrise golden hour while the morning air is still reasonably cool outside. The combination of the vapourizer in the car and the outside air temperature will make the windows fog up nicely.

thanks. this is actually a night scene but i'm sure it should be cool in the night so that'll help. as idiotic as this may sound what exactly is a vapourizer and where do i buy one? hardware store/walmart type of thing?

I don't know about in canada, but here it's "vaporizer".

You can get them at Walmart, Target, drugstores, etc.

A vaporizer heats the water to make mist.
A humidifier makes cool mist.
Probably make sure you get a vaporizer vs. humidifier since you want the water particles inside the car to be warmer than the outside.

ahhhh...got it!!! thanks guys. I asked cus i quickly googled it and i kept coming up with this product that costs over $200 that has something to do with smoking weed and bongs...lol. I'll go search for one now at walmart.

I would assume a clothing steamer would work too. You can rent those for like 10 bucks...

How 50's... the OP didn't say they were doing a period piece... what's more, the drive-in is a endangered if not extinct species...

Could use an electric kettle. Fill it up, plug it in, wait a few minutes and you'll have LOTS of steam. But some of them shut off automatically when they reach boiling so find one that doesn't (the cheaper ones).
