How Do I Caputure At 24p?!

Well, I'm going crazy because I have been trying and trying and still cannot figure out how to capture footage at 24p!

I've got Windows XP, Premiere and a basic firewire card and cannot figure out how to capture footage at 24fps. It seems to be preset at 29.97 and I don't know what settings to adjust so I can capture at 24.

Any advice would be more than greatly appreciated!

WIth Vegas, it knows what the footage is when you capture it. When you actually put it on a timeline, you have the choice of putting 24p clips on any timeline you want (ie 60i or 24 p or some other setting). But capture is capture, independent of editing and Vegas knows how to detect it. I mix 24p and 60i on same tape, and once I batch capture it all I can see which is which by the properties of the clip. Unless someone tells you different, try it and see what you learn.
