How do I call my job :)

After more than 20 years working with video productions, shooting, directing, lighting, editing, doing 3D animation, compositing, etc... when I go to a local shop and they ask me to fill some documents and write my occupation, I often have some doubts about what to write down :)
To help, yesterday my young son asked me what is my job, after 10 seconds I answered: I create videos (so generic)...
Maybe it is because I do many things... I have my own company and in some jobs I'm only the director, but in others I write the script, shoot and edit, so... what am I ? Maybe nothing :)
Maybe I need therapy :)

Thanks Craig,

Yes, most of time I say I'm a video producer, but here in my country people knows a producer as someone that hire the crew, logistics, location production, etc.

Give yourself the highest title. Producer. Only people who do the other jobs you do will be impressed that you do. If you are a business manager who also works on the factory floor, does office work and makes the coffee, the staff will appreciate it but everyone else will wonder if he's really a manager.

One-man video production company?

Sometimes yes. We have a crew here, 3 editors, writer, director, producer, 3D artist, art designer, etc, but sometimes I have or I want to finish something. I also like shooting and supervising jobs to keep our quality.
And, if needed, I can do a whole video from script to final file, but I never go out to shoot something alone :)

Thanks,
Ulisses

I started using Production Manager - as it sort of works. I manage productions? All the people who need a title are happy with this and my Press Card also calls me this, and it actually seems to work. I found little point trying to be ultra accurate - nobody really understood.
