How did I do 25 to 30 with no problems?

This is so wierd, but I shot PAL, edit PAL and sent it out as NTSC and had no problems.
I am trying to figure out how I did it but I cannot get the same result.
When I look at the clip's info, it says 29.97 fps.
Can some one help explain to me what I did?

btw - I shot in cineframe 25 and it came out as 29.97 ntsc DV
