How can I match these render settings?

I'm filming with my HMC150 and my 720p doesn't look half as good as the 260p on this video:

I'm using these render settings but they just aren't cutting it for youtube, what can I do to get the best render settings?

Follow the steps outlined in the following tutorial.
Sony Vegas to Youtube Tutorial - A Better Method
Use the "Better" method unless you really like to experiment.

My apologies for missing that info.
You didn't say what version of Vegas you're using but have you tried the Sony AVC template with the Internet 1280x720-30p (or 25p in PAL country).
I've done this several times and have been very happy with the results.

I'm using Vegas 10. So is there no point in using handbrake if I don't film interlaced footage?

I shoot 720 60p exclusively for the most part.

I've only played with Handbrake a little so I'm not the right guy to ask.
Try the Internet preset I mentioned and see what you think of the results.
You can always customize it and raise the bitrate (makes a larger file though) if you;re not happy with the quality.

Could you link me to something you uploaded using the internet preset? Please tell me your source footage too if possible.

Everything I've shot that's been uploaded so far has been SD only.
I work for a local community college and am (patiently) waiting for the marketing department to upload a 10 min. piece that I shot for them in HD (1440 x 1080).
I'll let you know when it gets posted.
