Go here if you don't know what videofact is -----> http://www.videofact.ca
So my company is going to be applying to VideoFACT for the first time. Their next deadline is Feb 26th. For those who don't know, they give up to $25,000 grants for music videos in Canada. I want that grant!!!! I think getting approved for a grant could be huge for getting my company off the ground. And they do approve grants for unknown artists and even unknown directors so i know it is worth a shot!
We are going all out for an artist we did a previous music video for and submitting the application on her behalf. Right now I'm working on coming up with an awesome concept for the video. Then we're gonna put together the shot list and budget and all that good stuff they ask for.
I'm just wondering if anyone here at DVXuser has experience with VideoFACT (or even Factor, although we are not applying to them in this case as the artist has not sold 2000 units of the album which is a requirement by them).
Would LOVE some (or ANY!) advice on how to increase our chances of getting the application approved, do's and dont's, whatever!
If there's something similar in the states or other countries then tips on how you got approved by them would be welcome as well..
Thanks guys!!!!!
