How are adlibbed TV shows filmed?...

[Dave Draper]

Just a random question...

Being that adlibbed TV shows, such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, don't use scripted dialogue, do they use multiple cameras to capture all the different angles on each scene?

Some shows just improv a lot of jokes in rehearsals however to give it a more improvised feel (Bill Lawrence walked into a Scrubs rehearsal late once and they'd gotten so far off script that he didn't know what scene they were working on.)
