How a Pop Star is made

There's so much that can be done with music. Even at the home recording level. You can take someone who can't sing (like the girl in the video) and make her sound like Britney Spears with a simple plug-in. It's crazy...

A little off topic, but what programs do people use to do those vocal effects? Not the pitch correction, but the effects that give vocals the electronic sound and reverb, etc.
 
I never clicked your link. But to answer your question, and I don't think you 'really' want an answer, but , get out there and play.
Get to know what people want then give it to them.

I was taking guitar lessons from a guy recently who was a teacher over at GIT (Guitar Institute) and he said the same thing. He kept asking me why I wasn't in a band...

There's a reason why Britney Spears always has so much backup singing that if you took her vocal track out, the whole song would still be there.
