Ok, after a week or so I finally found out how to edit the Pal, anamorphic footage (shot with anamorphic lens adapter) on Vegas.
To get 16:9 master you have to:
1) capture your anamorphic footage as Pal Dv (4:3)
2) set Project Properties as PAL Widescreen
but.... you must go to the Media Pool and click on EACH clip you want to use and change its properites to: PAL Widescreen.
3) edit your footage and then go to: Burn CD and there ...
...put CD to your CD drive...and...
4)...render as MPEG 1, VCD PAL
THis is how you get PAL Widescreen CD from your anamorphic footage in Vegas.
Of course the quality of MPEG 1 is not the best but if all you got is your CD burner - this is the way to go to have your material on CD. The advantage is that you can play your CD on computers and DVD players....
