Re: House of Flying Daggers

Hmm...thanks...but I'm kinda confused about which one to get. There's one for $15, one for $17, and one for $25

http://www.dvdasian.com/cgi-bin/dvd...&mv_pc=2100&mv_more_ip=1&mv_nextpage=A&pf=sql

I'm confused.

EDIT: Oh, thanks, I didn't see your post. What is the difference between the three though?

Re: House of Flying Daggers

My friend got his for $5 dollars on ebay. I don't know why there so cheap. The seller was from china though. I think its coming out to theatres this week. I'm still want to see this on the big screen.

Re: House of Flying Daggers

Yeah...it's not playing in my area though :'(

Re: House of Flying Daggers

I think the diference is the regions. The direct link i posted above has a region of "all" meaning it can play on all DVD players. It also depends on the subtitle too (different languages may cost more i guess).

Hope that helps

Re: House of Flying Daggers

Great cinematography - I saw this at the TIFF this year.

As with Hero, a little over-stylized for my tastes - though this was much more up-my-alley than the other.

I'll say it again - GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY

Re: House of Flying Daggers

Great cinematography, but a completely and utterly pointless story.

Give me the days of Tsui Hark, Yuen Woo-ping, and Ching Siu-tung directing their own films of this style any day over these melodramatic wannabe's.

Better still give me back the old days of Shaw Bros and Golden Harvest!
