In the past two years, I have stayed overnight in the Baltimore area exactly twice.
I have also had unauthorized use of my business credit card (resulting in the joy of cancel/reissue/affidavits/etc) exactly twice. Each incident has been about one month after staying at a hotel near Baltimore.
There only two large online retail sites who otherwise have any record of my credit card info - but they also have my personal CC info, which has never been compromised. Otherwise, I never store my CC info anywhere, and other than handing the card to hotels at check-in, it never leaves my wallet when traveling.
Shennanigans of a peculiar sort... Almost enough to make one wish for fulfillment of the events Tom Clancy penned in "The Sum of All Fears," even if I wasn't a Steeler's fan.
