Hot spot on the "gg" dummy cd

How do I lose the Hot Spot on the cd. Seems to be too much light on teh center and not enough diffusion.
Second question, where can you buy the dummy cds without having to buy the cds?

yes, maxell dummy. today I will apply the 1500 grit sandpaper to the cd and check the results.

update: The 1500 grit didn't create a coarse enough surface, so I went back to a 100 grit. Then went over lightly with a 600 grit. This seems to have eliminated to extreme hot spot and given a better overall diffusion. I plan on trying different things to continue to improve the diffusion.
Generally I like the effect I am getting with the lenses. I don't know as I would want to try to do a full length project with the device attached to the dvx. The assembled device is rather awkward.
