Horror Comedies like Evil Dead/Dead Alive etc

I think the Sequel may go over a bit better with you & others who feel the same way. I'm looking forward to a bit more emphasis on some fun action :)

I did too, but honestly, there was just something about it that never quite got off the ground for me. I felt like it was trying to be two different things: 1) A rumination on aging and being left behind, etc. and 2) A whacky monster movie, and the two never really meshed in my opinion.

However, I really liked Campbell's character work, and I thought the writing for both him and Davis was quite amazing.

I've never read the story, anyone know if it's good?
