Why the hell does it play fine in my 24p timeline in premiere, but the minute i go and export it as anything, with the highest of settings, 30fps...it looks like its recorded from a camcorder??? Quality seems way to clear, and the movements seem faster....What the hell is going on?? I cant keep it 24p on a DVD??? How do I preserve the look?

You can keep it 24p on DVD. Just about every movie you rent is a 24p DVD. When you export using the adobe media encoder, select your frame rate as 23.976 and select progressive for the field order.

As far as things seeming faster and clearer...not sure about that. You could add some grain and increase the contrast. Your monitor may be showing you things differently than a television.

Exporting quicktime files from Premiere doesn't work well for me. I export an uncompressed quicktime from Premiere and then encode an h.264 quicktime using Sorenson squeeze or Quicktime Pro. I'm assuming you want a smaller file for web delivery.

thats odd, cause i did try the export to dvd with 24p as the framerate and it didnt sync with the audio track...is there something i have to do seperate to the audio? just so you have an idea...its a music video that i just imported the 44.1 16bit stereo track, and did all the video editing on it....
