Hooking the Sony LMD-2030W to my computer

I recently got the LMD-2030W for monitoring my HVX, I took for granted that the LCD would have a DVI or VGA input which it doesn’t. I wanted to use this monitor for color correction work and general monitoring in AE or PPro. What do I need to be able to use this monitor with my computer? I imagine something that has a component out. Can anyone recommend something? Thanks.

Hey there,
Did you ever figure this out? I am also curious about this monitor. I assume you could go DVI>HDMI. I'm so confused why they didn't have a DVI input on this monitor, I guess to make you buy the ones that are much more expensive. Have you tried the DVI>HDMI method? And if so, how does it look for color correction?

Thanks for the reply. I know you can go DVI>HDMI but I'm wondering about quality for color correction. I've done DVI>HDMI onto a good Panasonic Plasma TV and the image did not look good but wasn't sure why. The reason I'd go for a Sony Luma is to get very accurate picture for color correction. Maybe an Apple Cinema Display with a Matrox MXO (using all DVI) would be a better option?
thanks again,
sns
