Congrats! Very nice looking stuff. Were you using a 35 adapter on your HPX? You got some nice shallow DOF in some of your footage.

Also, what did you do for the aerial shots? Did you do a tyler mount in the helicopter? Was that with the 170 or another cam? That shot with the snowboarder hitting the jump form the POV of the chopper was seriously SICK. Well done.

Yes the Cinevate was put to good use for the interviews with a Zeiss 85mm and a Nikon 180mm.

No tyler mount on helicopter. Just an awesome pilot, feet on the skids, shooting out the side of the cabin.

It's amazing what you can do with the simplest of tools.
I had a RED standing by... but the HPX (oh and my old HVX for B-roll) allowed me to move fast with a tight crew.
 
Thanks for the insight. On a video I've been working on recently, getting aerial footage was discussed; it's good to see that decent results can be had without getting a pricey mount.
