Just got news overnight that I may be sent to Hong Kong for work for two weeks. I don't know anyone there since the reason I'm going is to cover co-workers who are away at a conference.

Any DVX users in HK????? Please contact me if you are living there and have a little time to tell me what sights I should be sure to see while there.

Cheers

Thanks for the great e-mail!!! Are you living there? Thanks for all the tips.

About power in HK. My DVX is a Japanese model. What kind of adapters will I need to recharge in HK?

Also how expensive is it to move around the city? Buses, taxi's or trains? Most of Tokyo closes around 8pm. Does HK have areas that stay open later? As I'm likely to be stranded in the office a lot of the day.

i think its like tokyo but a version thats trying to catch up. but basically it closes the open markets around 8 or 9 or so. its like 100HK for a otcopass for the train. they also work for other things where the card is except just pay for the card at the subway stations then scan through any where taxi i didnt use as much so im not sure i walk and train and ferry around. but there are great markets and plenty of malls just got to find them lol.

As for power they dont use the american standard they use a large 3 prong adaptor which might be the same in the us. if not try to find an adaptor before you go over or find one there if you need it. I live there and and USA i go backforth. hopefully you can get out of the office go see some movies or buy them .... lol.. either way check out the open markets and the streets when you can.
