I plan to open the bid with 150 USD. that were the cost of the materials.

Your brace looks pretty similar to this
http://www.spiderbrace.com/ which is around $65. I'm sure your's is better but can you tell me the differences?

Thanks!
marlene

The support that I build is more adaptable, strong and you can add a lot og gadgets like a firestore, wireless UHF, battery, etc
The brace os spiderbrace.com looks like a 3 tubes welded with foam and is not configurable and adaptable to your body and your cam.

Looks awesome! Have you tested it with other cameras? And how do attach add-ons; will you be selling plates that slide into the grooves?

I have tested with a Sony FX1 and a Canon XM1 and works very well. I have used for shorts films, very steady shoots to eyes level.
The manfrotto plates are easily attached to this support with two screws. I sell with this adapter.

Now the brace is in ebay.

AVR, your brace seems to be very high quality.
