So I got Magic Bullet for Premiere free(came with my DVX), but not being able to import into After Effects for all my color correction is kind of a limitation.

Has anyone figured out a way to do "White Diffusion" and "Black Diffusion" in After Effects? (I think I can figure out everything else) Thanks.

Can you describe the look or post a before and after? I imagine it is as simple as isolating light and dark vaules from a given layer, and then using a blending mode or a combination of modes to get the desired effect. That, and some Levels, Curves, and Contrast tweaks.

Well for the white diffusion I would say you could try this. Make another video track (if you don't already have one ) and duplicate your video clip and place that on the second track, which should be directly above the first clip.

Then keep the first clip in its original form, take the second clip and make it black and white. Then add a bit of gaussian blur to it AND bring the opacity down. Those you have to adjust to your liking but the effect is a pretty nice diffused look. The amount of diffussion will be determined by the opacity and blur of that second clip. So you can experiment. Easy to do and cool look.
