Home Depot flour. bulb color correct replacement?

Hey,

I'm wondering if anyone has replaced the flourescent bulbs in the home depot lights with color balanced replacements?

I'm pretty sure I read about that here some time ago but couldn't find it in a search.

I'd love to be able to use the lights I have along with some "pro" lights but I think it would defeat the purpose of having pro lights by mixing the temps.

So, are there bulbs that you can swap in that are 3200K? If so, is there a size/model # or anything, and any suggestions on where to get them?

thanks much

What kind of bulbs do you have now? There's so many different kinds. CFL spirals, 4 foot 36w tubes, 4 foot 40w tubes, etc.

Your choices are somewhat limited for finding a good 3200K replacement to many of the consumer types of packages. We sell 3200K 55w Biax tubes on my site at www.coollights.biz but no others at the present time. 3500K is about the closest you'll find in most types of tubes. You could try it but in the lower ranges, 300K may be pretty noticeable. At least I can see the difference most of the time. You could try it and see what you think though.
